It is with deep sorrow that the Crispo family announces the death of Mr. Michael Dominick Crispo, 52. Mr. Crispo, the son of Dominck and Sandra Crispo, entered into rest on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The Directors of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home & Crematory are caring for the family. Michael was a man of many passions and an unforgettable spirit. A lifelong wrestling fan, he especially enjoyed the larger-than-life characters of Chewbacca and Boba Fett from the Star Wars universe. He rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams, the Toronto Maple Leafs, the New York Rangers, and the Las Vegas Raiders. His love of heavy metal music was something he proudly shared with his youngest daughter, creating treasured memories together while attending concerts. Michael dreamed of becoming a teacher and was pursuing that goal by attending Florence-Darlington Technical College. Although he had not yet completed his studies, his desire to make a difference in the lives of others reflected the caring and encouraging person he was. Those who worked alongside Michael knew him as someone with an exceptional work ethic and unwavering dedication. He genuinely loved his job and earned the admiration and respect of his supervisors and coworkers alike. Known for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, Michael could brighten any room with his laughter. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, never hesitating to put others before himself. Michael’s kindness, loyalty, and generous heart touched countless lives. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and selflessness that will continue to be remembered by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and impossible to replace In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Dayna Vaughan of Hartsville, SC; son, Phoenix Crispo of Camden, SC; daughters, Sophia and Gabrielle Crispo of Hartsville, SC; brother, Anthony (Kelly) Crispo of Columbia, SC; sisters, Angela (George) Pack of Paulding, Ohio, Michelle (Greg) Crispo of Cassatt, SC; brother-in-laws, Justin, Nathan, David; and three nieces and three nephews.
