It is with profound sorrow that Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Scott and Elizabeth (Humphries) Andrews, together with their family, announce the passing of their beloved daughter, Miss Annabelle Elizabeth Andrews, age 15. Annabelle entered into rest on Friday, August 22, 2025. The Directors of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home & Crematory are caring for the family during this difficult time. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the McBee High School Gymnasium with Rev. Stephen Sanderson officiating. A private family burial will follow at Union Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends are encouraged to wear black or light pink attire in honor of Annabelle’s favorite colors. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home. Annabelle is survived by her loving parents; her sisters, Emma Andrews and DaniRose Andrews; her grandparents, Chuck and Paulette Humphries of McBee, and Debbie Watkins (Steve Crowley) of Patrick; her uncle, Chip (Amanda) Humphries; her aunt, Brandi (Trey) McLaurin; and cousins Harlan McLaurin, Liam McLaurin, Creighton Humphries, and Tori Grant Earle who is her cousin but more like her big sister. She also leaves behind her best friend, Harley Boykin, and special friends Elizabeth Fales, John Byrd, Skyler Freeman, Kristian Rebollar, Abby Tamburinno, Janiah Liles, and Marcos Cardona. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Scott Andrews. Annabelle was a sophomore at McBee High School, where she was a proud member of the varsity volleyball team. She also played with the Sandhills Blazers Volleyball Club, where she made lasting friendships through the game she loved. When she wasn’t on the court, she could almost always be found with her sidekick Harley, if you saw one, you saw the other. More than anything, Annabelle adored her sisters, Emma and DaniRose, and the special bond they shared. Outside of school, she worked at Bigs, where she loved her job and cherished her “work family.” Annabelle was the kind of kid you wanted to be around. She was beautiful, smart, outgoing, and one of the funniest people you could ever meet. With her unintentional witty sense of humor and quirky charm, she had the ability to make everyone around her laugh without even trying. Full of life, with her carefree spirit and contagious personality, she was able to light up any room. Annabelle’s “kind soul” touched countless hearts, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she came in contact with. We are going to miss her making us laugh every minute of every day. We will miss watching you ball out like your life depended on it every time you stepped on that court. Though your light has passed from this world, its warmth will forever be felt in our hearts.
