Funeral services for Mrs. Wynette Dixon Jordan, 59, will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, February 8, 2021, in The Chapel of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Jimmy Johnson will officiate with burial in Jordan Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 pm on Monday, February 8, 2021, at the funeral home. Mrs. Jordan entered into rest on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Born in Hartsville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Caulie W. Dixon and Ella Barefoot Dixon. Wynette was a loving wife and mother and a supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She was very generous, loving, and put others first. Family gatherings were important to her, especially singing around the Christmas tree. Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Marvin Jordan of Hartsville, SC; daughter, Jessica Lyerly (Chad) of Florence, SC; sisters, Sylvia Byrd, Wanda Dixon, Barbara Smith (Lynwood) all of Hartsville. SC; brother, Ed Dixon (Abbie Gail) of Hartsville, SC. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Watford, Shelby Roberts; brother, Charles Dixon.
