It is with deep sorrow that the Cassidy family announces the death of their beloved son, Timothy Wyatt “Timmie” Cassidy, 26. Mr. Cassidy entered into rest on Sunday, April 3, 2022. The Directors of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home & Crematory are caring for the family. A funeral service to honor his life will be held at 2 o'clock on Monday, April 11, 2022, in The Chapel of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home, with The Rev. Steve Winburn officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Timmie was born in Hartsville, SC, on May 17, 1995, the son of Tony R. Cassidy, Sr., and Carol Lynn Cassidy of Hartsville, SC. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Tony R. (Jessica) Cassidy, Jr. of Darlington, SC; niece, Kinsley Cassidy; and his nephew, Colton Cassidy. Timmie had a heart of gold! He had a passion for fishing and loved to fish for Bass and Catfish. When he took his niece and nephew to the pond fishing, his eyes would light up with pride and joy. Timmie was also a computer wizard. He could fix any computer or phone. He loved social media and playing online games, especially Fortnite. Our Timmie loved his family and would have done anything he could for us! He and his brother had the same passion for fishing, and wow, the fish they caught! He and Tony also loved riding four-wheelers, and they were fearless, having no boundaries. This momma had a few too many scary moments, but it never seemed to deter him. I asked Colton and Kinsley to describe Uncle Timmie in one word, and Colton said, "Brave," and Kinsley said, "Kind." They were right; my baby boy was fearless! If I had to describe Timmie in just a few words, it would be loving, cocky, not afraid of anything or anyone. He loved all of us, just in different ways. We will never stop loving you, son! We will forever be empty and lost. Losing you at such a young age of 26 has been a nightmare for all of us -- every day.
