It is with deep sorrow that the Wilson family announces the death of their beloved mother, Sandra Evon Lyles Wilson, 72. Mrs. Wilson entered into rest on Thursday, February 24, 2022. A funeral service to honor her life will be held at 3 o'clock on Friday, March 4, 2022, in The Chapel of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home. The Rev. Jimmy Ray Jeffords will officiate with burial to follow in Swift Creel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 3, 2022. The Directors of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home & Crematory are caring for the family. Mrs. Wilson, the widow of Julius Wilson, the owner of Wilson Septic Tank Service of Hartsville, was born in Hartsville, SC. She was the daughter of James E. Lyles and Lillian Catoe Lyles. She worked at Milliken Manufacturing, Morrell Nursing Home, and the Hartsville Health Department. She loved to ride her motorcycle, sing and play the piano, and spend time with her family and grandchildren. She loved her chihuahuas and her special dog, "Flossie," who went to heaven with her and her dear friends Richard Hinson. She attended church at the Hartsville Church of God of Prophecy on North Fifth Street. She also loved her special former son-in-law, Devin Kelley and special former daughter-in-law, Lisa Grimsley. She is survived by her son, Robert Edward Wilson of Hartsville, SC; daughter, Michelle Wilson of Hartsville, SC; brother, James Melvin Lyles; sister, Deborah Joyce Lyles Tarte; niece, Lynn Lyles (Murry) Kennedy; grandchildren, Nicole (Bill) Kneeland, Stephanie Napier, Courtney Kelley, Allie Kelley, Kam Kelley; great-grandchildren, Abbigail Booker, Blazely James, Aurora Kelley.
