Born in Hartsville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Henry Grady Johnson, Sr. and Annie Lou McKenzie Morrison. Rosie was a beautiful soul with a personality larger than life. She never saw a thrift or antique store that she didn’t love and was immensely creative. She was a strong and selfless Mama to her three girls and a loving Granny Rose to her grand-babies. For her dearest Chris, she was his strength and Lady Rose. Her residents at Morningside adored her and she devoted herself to adding light to their lives. Rosie had the biggest beautiful blue eyes and a radiant smile that would light up a room. She has left an imprint on everyone that has ever met her that can never be erased. Gone too soon but will never be forgotten... Surviving are her love and best friend, Chris Keckley; her daughters, Victoria Brooke Johnson (Thomas R. Gainey), Blake Horton Kinard (Ryan), Minnie Rose Horton; mother, Annie Lou "Lucy" Morrison; grandchildren, Thomas Mason Gainey, Matthew Colton Gainey, Bristol Monroe Gainey, Sawyer Anne McCoy; siblings, Ollie Rae McDonald (Carroll), Annie Faye Hall (Ben), Annette Johnson (Dale Blackwell), Henry “Junior” Johnson, Jr. (Tammy), Dale Wesley Johnson (Shannon), Nancy Ann Morris (Russell), Sam L. Johnson (Kristina), Marie Morrison Ward (Andrew), Luke Morrison (Shannon); numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her dad, Mendel L. Morrison, Sr.
