A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Miriam Amerson Moore, 82, who entered into rest on Friday, October 1, 2021, will be held at 2 o'clock on Monday, October 4, 2021, in St. John United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Lin Kirkman will officiate and the family will receive friends at the graveside following the service. Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Directors are caring for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Mcleod Hospice House, 1203 East Cheves Street, Florence, SC 29506. Mrs. Moore, the widow of Marion LaBruce Moore, was born in Lamar, SC. She was the daughter of the late Boyd Amerson and Annie Louise Smith. She is survived by her son, Daniel Craig Moore of Bishopville, SC; daughter, Jody (James, Jr.) Davis of Bishopville, SC; stepsons, Richard LaBruce Moore of Bishopville, SC, James Wendell Moore of Hartsville, SC, Anthony Wayne Moore of Lugoff, SC; stepdaughters, Lynette Moore McElveen of Sumter, SC, Nina Charlene Moore of Bishopville, SC; ten grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Boyd Chandler.
