Mr. James Andrew Raley

It is with deep sorrow that the Raley family announces the death of their beloved brother, James Andrew Raley, 65, of Bishopville, SC. Mr. Raley entered into rest on Thursday, April 14, 2022. The Directors of Hancock-Elmore-HIll are caring for the family. The Raley family will receive friends from 12:00 until 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 49 Church Camp Road, Bishopville, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to Lee County EMS, 130 Industrial Blvd., Bishopville, SC 29010. Born in Lee County, SC, he was the son of the late Charlie Farrell Raley, Jr. and the late Minnie Maybell Farmer Raley. He loved truck-driving, drag racing with his car, and fishing. He was a huge fan of of John Wayne and loved watching Western movies. He also enjoyed growing vegetables in his garden. He loved his beloved German Shepherd, “Pup-pup,” his spoiled pig, “Sue,” and his chickens. Most of all, he loved his family. He is survived by his special aunt, Lois Raley; brothers, Willie Raley, Charlie (Stephanie) Raley, Michael Raley, David Raley; sisters, Janet (Ernest) Christmas, Patricia (Michael) Parsons; several nieces and nephews.
