Everett Keith Sullivan, 93, of Hartsville, SC passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. A funeral service to honor his life will be held at 3 o'clock on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, in Kelleytown Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Mike Madaris, The Rev. Dr. Rod Elliott, and The Rev. Gary Anderson will officiate with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. The Directors of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home & Crematory are caring for the family. Everett was preceded in death by his father, John L. Sullivan; mother, Zepher Curry Sullivan; sister, Maxine Sullivan Broach; and brother, John “Budge” Sullivan. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy Grantham Sullivan; daughter, Noelle Sullivan Marsh (Tony) of Hartsville, SC; son, Stuart K. Sullivan (Lisa) of Buford, GA; and granddaughter, Aylin Faye Sullivan (6). Everett was born in Lancaster, SC on October 28, 1928. He served in the United States Navy during WWII, graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in pharmacy, and owned and operated Scottie Drug Store in Hartsville, SC for over 30 years. He was a member of Kelleytown Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher, and captain of the ushers for many years and was an avid golfer and longtime member of Hartsville Country Club. Everett was a gentle, sweet, kind, and loving man. He had a great sense of humor, zest for life, and enjoyed spending his time with family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who cared deeply for his family.
