    Mr. Ernest Edward "Skeet" Woodham

    November 6, 1940 - May 13, 2022

    It is with deep sorrow that Mrs. Wanda Woodham announces the death of her beloved husband, Mr. Ernest Edward "Skeet" Woodham, 81. Mr. Woodham entered into rest on Friday, May 13, 2022. The Directors of Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home are caring for the family. A graveside funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at 2 o'clock on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Hebron United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jimmy Beck and The Rev. Jerry McManus will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home. Mr. Woodham was born in Hartsville, SC, the son of the late Harrison M. "Jack" Woodham and the late Ruth Hanvey Woodham, and grew up farming in Lee County. He was a lifelong member of Hebron United Methodist Church and was a Master Mason and a Shriner. He enjoyed Clemson football and Atlanta Braves Baseball. Known as "Pa" by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he was loved for his good nature and an endless supply of Tootsie-Pops, Tootsie Rolls, and "Pa Ha." He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Kelly Woodham of Bishopville, SC; sons, Kelley (Janice) Woodham of Bishopville, SC; Hunter (Kim) Wilberger of Florence, SC; daughter, Karen Wilberger of Hartsville, SC; brother, Tom (Wilson Ellis) Woodham of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sister, Virginia (Pete) Beasley of Bishopville, SC; grandchildren, Kate (Tucker) White, Hannah Woodham, Molly Wilberger, Hope Wilberger, Emily Woodham; four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three infant sons.
