Mrs. Dianne Powell Harvey

January 31, 1947 - April 25, 2022

Dianne Powell Harvey, 75, of Shulerville, SC, a former speech pathologist with South Carolina school systems died at her daughter's home Monday, April 25, 2022, in Shulerville. Dianne was born on January 31st, 1947 in Hartsville SC, the daughter of the late Harlock Walter Harvey and Maria Powell Harvey of Pinopolis, SC. She was a graduate of Hartsville High School and went on to complete her bachelor's degree at Winthrop and then to USC for her masters degree. Dianne enjoyed her time with her family. She often traveled and loved going with her daughter and granddaughter to horse shows all over the United States. She loved being a grandmother. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Natalie Mariah Wilhelm of Mount Pleasant, SC, and her brother, Walt Harvey of Hartsville, SC. Surviving are her husband, Hugh Mitchum; a daughter, Hollis Wilhelm Page and her husband, Johnny, of Shulerville; a son, Huey Mitchum of Charleston; and three grandchildren, Hampton Page, Reilly Wilhelm, and Emma Grace Wilhelm. There will be no service at this time as she requested. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
