CJ left Earth on Sunday, April 26, 2020, while saving the life of a child. He drowned while keeping the young boy safe above the water. Born in Logan, West Virginia, he was the son of Carl Junior Robinette Sr. and Linda Lou Maynard. He is survived by his parents, Carl and Linda, and their spouses, Alice and Sam respectively. He leaves behind his son, Dallon Robinette; his brother, Tony Robinette; his niece, Lucy Robinette; and stepsiblings Valerie Hicks, Sherry Conn, and Kathy Clemons. He is also survived by countless friends, all of whom he considered his family. His death is preceded by that of his sister, Carla Ramirez. CJ Graduated Logan Highschool in Logan, West Virginia in 1989. He studied respiratory therapy at Marshal University, then later received his Master of Business degree with a concentration in Health Care Administration from the University of New Orleans. CJ worked at a number of hospitals as a Respiratory Therapist before beginning a career in sales and management. At the time of his passing, he was employed at Brown’s RV and Marine Superstore in McBee, South Carolina. It is difficult to describe the impact CJ made in life, and there are certainly no words which can be said to comfort the tragedy of his death. He loved the simple things. Riding his motorcycle on empty country roads, boat rides with his friends and quality time with his loved ones. Above all else though, CJ loved to love on others. In both his life and in his death, CJ was known for the way he cared for every living creature. His generosity, joy, and gentle support will be missed by many.
