Mr. Bennie L. Hall Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

It is with deep sorrow that the Hall family announces the death of Mr. Bennie L. Hall, 77. He entered into rest on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. A Memorial service to honor Bennie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022. in the Chapel of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home with Steve Winburn officiating. He was the son of the late Morgan Lee Hall and the late Mintie Viola Howell Hall. At a young age Bennie began working to help his family. He was a long haul truck driver for the majority of his life and was employed by Tuckers Enterprises of Darlington, SC for many years. He also ventured into self employment as an owner operator of Dead End Grocery and Halls Transport. Bennie enjoyed playing pool, motorcycles, NASCAR, and WWE. Most importantly, he loved his family. As Bennie's health declined, he needed the assistance of a caregiver. The family would like to recognize and give much gratitude to his stepdaughter/caregiver, Tiffany Wilkins, for taking on the responsibility and providing the care he received. Left to cherish his memory are his spouse, Laura Wilkins of Darlington, SC; sons, Steven Carl Hall of Pocahontas, VA, Christopher Hall of Florence, SC, Jonathan Hall of Florence, SC; daughter, Susan (Jeff) Lee of Florence, SC; stepdaughter, Tiffany Wilkins of Darlington, SC; brother, William (Sharon) Hall of Anna, IL; grandchildren, Thomas (Shannon) Lee, Jeffrey W. (Mary) Lee, III, Jessica (Hunter) Hale; 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Lewis Hall, Claude Hall, Leroy Hall; sisters, Louise Boan, Lillian Boan, Pearline Dixon, Mary Ellen Padgette, Elizabeth Jan Thomas.
