Born in Chesterfield, SC, she as a daughter of the late Julian Henry James and the late Dorothy Elise Roscoe James. Surviving are her sons, William Henry Hudson and Jesse Eugene Wilkes; sister, Donna Nicole Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Wilkes. The Directors of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home and Crematory are caring for the family.
