Funeral services for Juanita “Nita” Yarborough Conyers, 83, will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Danny Pierce will officiate with burial in Jacksonville Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 27, 2007 following the service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
Mrs. Conyers, widow of Grady Conyers, died Monday, December 24, 2007. Born in Darlington Co., SC, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Bessie Edwards Yarborough.
Surviving are her great nieces, Lisa Edwards Adams and Kathryn Edwards Odom. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Manuel Edwards, Will Edwards, George Yarborough, Harry Yarborough, Carl Yarborough, Vallie Yarborough, June Yarborough; sisters, Lillie Mae Stamey, Rosie Lynch, Sue Lee Yarborough.
