Funeral services for Shirley Layton Boan, 74, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2010 at the Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mrs. Boan, widow of James Edward Boan, died Monday, February 8, 2010. Born in Hartsville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow and Margaret Ellen McKenzie Layton.
Surviving is her son, James W. Boan of Florence, SC.
